TD Summer Reading Club
Reading fun for kids, from Canada's public libraries
About the Club
-
The TD Summer Reading Club is back! From June 24 to September 2, kids can join the Club at their local library branch and participate in-person or online.
The TD Summer Reading Club offers a variety of free, fun activities for children of all ages to keep them reading all summer long! Club participants can read whatever they’d like throughout the summer and report on the books read to library staff to earn stickers or badges.
How it Works
- Starting June 24 visit your local library branch to sign up your child for the Club, and get their reading kit. Or, sign up online, where you and your child can track their reading and earn virtual badges. Get Your Sumer Read On! Kids who sign up online between June 24-July 31 will be entered into a contest to win a prize pack!
- Read for fun! Have your child read what they enjoy and try some of our recommended reads.
- Visit tdsummerreadingclub.ca to vote in the Battle of the Books, post reviews, write stories, read and write jokes, join in weekly trivia, watch author/illustrator readings and workshops and more.
The TD Summer Reading Club is accessible for kids of all abilities, no matter how they read! Ask library staff about getting content of the Club notebook in accessible formats or see accessible Club elements now.
Join the French Reading Challenge
The Club is bilingual! Children who read in French can tell us about what they have been reading, and get entered into a draw at the end of the summer. The French Reading Challenge starts on June 24 online and in library branches.
Visit clubdelecturetd.ca for more ways to enjoy the TD Summer Reading Club in French.
